The following table of questions has been designed to ensure the magnet you select is the most appropriate.
Is the magnet required:
- A holding magnet
- A repelling magnet
- Used to separate steel pieces
- Need to be strong for its size
- Particularly weak
- Inexpensive
- Magnetised through its length
- Have a hole for mounting
- Operate above 80 degrees C
- Operate reed or hall effect switches
